User management in Epiphany Validation Engine (EVE) follows the same process as in Epiphany Intelligence Platform (EIP). For detailed steps, refer to the EIP User Management documentation: Epiphany Intelligence Platform User Management Guide.
To manage users in EVE, follow these steps:
Click on your profile in the top-right corner.
Open the menu (three dots).
Select "Go to Epiphany page." This will redirect you to EIP, where user management is handled.
EVE has two user roles:
User
Admin
For more information abour each role visit Account Types.
For a User:
In the Roles section, assign EVE User.
For an Admin:
In the Roles section, assign EVE User.
In the Rights section, add admin.
After creating a user account in EVE, the platform does not send an automated email notification. It is necessary to manually set a One-time Password (OTP) for the user to log in for the first time.
Ensure the user account has been created
Assign the appropriate role (EVE User).
If the user is an admin, also add admin in the Rights section.
Set a One-time Password (OTP)
Navigate to User Management.
Locate the user and click on Select Action.
Choose Set One-time Password.
Click Accept to confirm.
User First-time Login Process
The user logs in using their email and the One-time Password.
They will be forced to create a new password.
After setting their password, the user will be presented with the EULA (End User License Agreement).
Once accepted, they will gain access to the platform.
