# Installing the EVE Agent

Before installing the EVE Agent, make sure to have completed the steps described in the following sections  [<mark style="color:yellow;">EVE Agent Requirements</mark>](/technical-documentation/admin-guides/epiphany-validation-engine-users-guide/chapter-2-eve-endpoint/eve-agent-requirements.md) and [<mark style="color:yellow;">Frameworks</mark>](/technical-documentation/admin-guides/epiphany-validation-engine-users-guide/chapter-2-eve-endpoint/eve-agent-requirements/frameworks.md).

The steps in the following sections are required to install the EVE Agent.
