# Administration

Epiphany’s administration falls into two areas:

* Setting up your Epiphany users defines the type of access each user will have. This is described in the section [User Management](/technical-documentation/admin-guides/epiphany-intelligence-platform-administrator-guide/administration/user-management.md).
* Setting up access to both cloud-based and on-premises data sources, and data collectors for on-premises data sources makes it possible for Epiphany to evaluate the potential outcomes of your environment’s attack surface.
