# Create a New Patch Manager Plus User

#### **Step 1:**

* Log in to your ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus instance.
* Select **Admin** in the toolbar,  select the **User** tab, and then select the **Add User** button.

#### **Step 2:**

* Under **Step 1:** **Add User**, complete the fields listed below. An example of the completed fields is shown in the image below.
  * **Email**: Enter an email from your organization.
  * **Name**: Enter a name for the user. **collectors\_eip** is recommended.
  * **Role**: Select **Guest** (required).

* Select **Add User**. Manage Engine sends an email to the email address you provided, describing how to complete the registration process. An example of the email is shown below:
