# Generate a Carbon Black Cloud API Key

#### Step 1:&#x20;

* Log into the Carbon Black Cloud UI using your user’s assigned credentials.
* Select **Settings** and then select **API Access**.\

* On the **API ACCESS** page, go to the top left of the page and copy the **ORG KEY** for submission to Epiphany later.

#### Step 2:

* Select the **Add API Token** button. <img src="/files/jRvRJXWofYZStvstc1WM" alt="" data-size="line">
* Complete the **Add API Key** pop-up window as shown below and then select **Save**:

#### Step 3:&#x20;

* Copy the API credentials to a secure location for upload to the Epiphany Intelligence Platform Portal.
