# License

The page shown in the image is the **License Details** section of the **Epiphany Validation Engine** platform. It is divided into two key sections:

1. **License Information**:
   * The license allows simultaneous connection of up to **X amount of endpoints** at the same time.
   * The **License Start Date.**
   * The **License End Date.**
2. **Level of License**:
   * The license is categorized as a **Diamond, Gold, Silver or Bronze**, indicating the tier level subscription with full access to the platform’s features and capabilities.

**License Information**\
The license for the Epiphany Validation Engine includes the following capabilities:

1. **Comprehensive Attack Emulation**: All services are included without the need for additional modules. The platform supports unlimited attack emulation events, enabling continuous performance evaluation.
2. **Real Threat Database**: The platform utilizes a threat database comprising real, executable cyber threats. This database is updated daily to ensure relevance and effectiveness. It includes executable files with real malicious payloads.
3. **Custom Script Support**: The platform supports the upload and execution of scripts to recreate any desired scenario. These scripts can be executed in a real emulation exercise, providing flexibility to simulate specific threat conditions.

### How EVE licencing works

**EVE (Epiphany Validation Engine) Licensing**

EVE licensing is based on concurrent agents. This means the agent can be installed on as many endpoints as the customer wants within their environment; however, only the number of endpoints covered by the purchased licenses will be able to run emulations at the same time.

For example, if a customer has one concurrent agent license, the agent may be installed on multiple endpoints, but only the first endpoint that registers and reports to the console will be enabled to participate in emulations. Any additional endpoints where the agent is installed will display a message indicating that the license limit has been reached.

If additional concurrent agent licenses are purchased, the same principle applies: the agent can still be installed on any number of endpoints, but only the number of endpoints corresponding to the available licenses will be able to execute emulations simultaneously.

EVE also offers NFR (Not For Resale) and MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) licensing models, which operate under different schemes and are intended for specific use cases such as demonstrations, internal testing, or managed security services.

**EFI (Email Fraud & Infiltration) Licensing**

EFI licensing is based on a pool of sent emails. Customers purchase a predefined number of emails that can be used to execute phishing simulation campaigns.

Within this purchased email volume, the use of QR codes and phishing links is included without limitation, meaning there is no separate restriction on how many QR codes or links can be used within the campaigns. Only the total number of emails sent counts toward the licensed volume.
