# EndPoints Diagram Filters

To filter the elements of a column, follow these steps:&#x20;

1. Position the cursor at the end of the column heading.&#x20;
2. 3. Click on the icon to display the advanced sorting and filtering options.&#x20;

<mark style="color:blue;">Unsort:</mark> That when the user select the user return in the order by defaut of the table: Oldest to newest element.&#x20;

<mark style="color:blue;">Sort by ASC:</mark> This option sorts the information in ascending order.&#x20;

<mark style="color:blue;">Sort by DESC:</mark> It sorts the information in descending order.&#x20;

<mark style="color:blue;">Filter:</mark> This is for filtering information according to more specific needs. &#x20;

This option displays a new window.&#x20;

In this menu we find the following options:&#x20;

<mark style="color:blue;">Columns:</mark> Select the column the user want to apply the filtering, in any column the user can use this option..&#x20;

<mark style="color:blue;">Operators:</mark> Indicates content, if it is equal to , if it begins with , if it ends with , if it is empty or not.&#x20;

<mark style="color:blue;">Value:</mark> The value to be considered in the filter.&#x20;

\+ Add Filter: Allows to add more filtering conditions to the same or other columns.&#x20;

<mark style="color:blue;">Hide:</mark> this choice allows us to suppress or hide the information of the selected column. &#x20;

<mark style="color:blue;">Show colums:</mark> In this section we can select which columns we want to display in the user table according to our needs to improve the administration of user profiles. &#x20;

A column search can be performed in the "Find column" section.”&#x20;

To activate or deactivate columns, use the switch next to each column name.&#x20;

The user can hide or show all columns with the quick options at the bottom of the window (HIDE ALL and SHOW ALL).  &#x20;
